ECOFIN

Our second committee is ECOFIN, which is a beginner-level committee! The Economic and Financial Committee (ECOFIN), also known as the Second Committee of the United Nations General Assembly (GA2), is responsible for addressing global issues related to economic development, financial stability, and international cooperation. As a central body within the UN system, GA2 focuses on matters such as macroeconomic policy, poverty reduction, international trade, sustainable development, and the equitable distribution of resources.
