Watergate Scandal

Our sixth committee is the FBI, which is an upper-intermediate-level committee! The Watergate scandal was a series of interconnected political scandals involving the administration of U.S. President Richard M. Nixon. The scandal emerged after five burglars were arrested at the Democratic National Committee (DNC) headquarters, located in the Watergate office-apartment-hotel complex in Washington, D.C. On August 9, 1974, Nixon, facing a possible impeachment process for his role in covering up the scandal, became the only U.S. president to resign. On the morning of June 17, 1972, police caught five burglars in the DNC office at the Watergate complex. Four of them had previously worked for the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). This committee will be caught between the FBI officials, the Senate, and Nixon, as secret tapes related to the decision, which will be rife with slander and bribery, will surface.
