House of Representatives

Open Agenda

Our eighth committee is House of Representatives, which is an advanced-level committee! The United States House of Representatives is the lower house in the bicameral Congress within the Legislative Branch. The House has 435 members and they are elected by the citizens of each state, therefore; it is considered as a direct representation of the people by being a key institution in the idea of the Representative Government. It has the power of proposing bills, impeaching federal officials and electing a president if an Electoral College result cannot be reached. The bills proposed include decisions on national interests and help to establish federal laws. In this committee, the representatives will decide upon the future of the United States under the light of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness! May God bless us all and may God bless the United States of America.
